For Real

When I say that I love you
Do not be afraid
For the love that I feel
Does not trap or enslave

It’s a love made of freedom
That allows us to be
The best kind of people
God meant us to be

From the moment that I met you
I knew you’d be my friend
No matter where you go, or what you do
I’ll love you to the end.

So, do not be afraid, my friend
When I say I love you so
I know you are a gift from God
I needed you to know!
