Can It Change? I gotta ask you what’s going on And wonder why this split has upon Come to our world~unrest and war Did all this start a long time before? In1776 a contract wrote Would give us all the right to vote And stand a nation so delighted But, if that’s so, why are we not UNITED? Our leader some decisions make May sometimes be a sad mistake But as a nation, can we be UNITED in our LIBERTY? We lose our job, our house, we strife Can’t we be thankful we have LIFE? Is greed consuming heart and mind That people have become unkind?
